3D printing is revolutionizing the way we create all types of objects — including mini versions of ourselves. German company DOOB 3D (http://www.doob3d.com) recently set up shop in NYC, where anyone can get a tiny figurine made of themselves. The company originally developed its technology to scan cancer and stroke victims to be fitted for prosthetics. Now it’s being used to produce 3D selfies.
